With all Nexus devices, unlocking the bootloader is simple all you need is Android SDK for fastboot support and you then you can enterfastboot OEM unlock.

If you want to revert back to stock recovery after installing CWM then use the patch (download link below), it is compatible with mskip’s toolkit and uses the same method. EYou can also flash the file below to restore the default option and make your Nexus 4 back to stock recovery.
