The Kickstarter started by Nextbit for their Cloud based phone Robin, will be on sale at Amazon for $299 from 04 May till 10 May and the price will be going back up again to $399. It received a very positive response from the backers who backed the project where it managed to fund itself over $1.3M with which it managed to provide Nextbit Robin to its customers.
So what exactly Nextbit Robin is?
Nextbit took a weird approach to use cloud storage and use minimum internal storage. So the users don’t have to get worried about their storage. How it works? It basically install all the apps on cloud and will keep the regular used apps on device and rest on cloud and whenever you want to use the apps which are stored in cloud, it will download both app and its data from cloud.
